Olivia Hurley is a second-year, studying design and community regional development at UCDavis. Coming from New York City, sustainability, fashion, and equity has always been at the forefront of her thinking.
Erika Lopez is a second-year Cognitive Science major at UC Davis. With interests in various sciences, including medical and biological studies, they often find themselves fascinated with the advances in bioengineering and biodesign.

Andrea Harris is a first-year masters student in the textiles program with a background in biological system engineering. Her graduate research is focused on analyzing the unique fiber characteristics of Navajo-churro wool. dyeing with natural materials has always interested Andrea, so combining mushroom dyeing and wool research in Biodesign has been a highlight of her time at UC Davis.
Taylor Scobey is a third-year biological systems engineering major interested in interdisciplinary engineering applications such as biomimicry, biomaterials, and environmental remediation. She expresses excitement for the future of biodesign and what it can do to create a more sustainable, ethical future
